Chapter 260 Judson swung his bat with such ferocity that it was a blur.

John barely had a moment to register what was happening before the bat connected with his neck, sending him sprawling through the air.

He crashed into the wall with a sickening thud and crumpled to the ground, unconscious.

The whole room fell into an eerie silence as everyone stared at Judson, who stood there exuding a menacing aura. It was clear that no one had anticipated this level of aggression.

Nancy clenched her jaw tightly. She wasn't the forgiving type, especially if she had been the one being bullied instead of Judson.

Judson let out a cruel laugh. "So, are you all going to gang up on me, or should I take you down one by one?" The crowd exchanged uncertain glances, the bravado fading from their faces.

But with a shared look, they charged at Judson. After all, there were seven or eight of them-surely they could overpower him.

Nancy watched anxiously as Judson was surrounded.

Judson moved with lightning speed. When the first man lunged at him, Judson delivered a high side kick that sent the attacker flying.

The next man, who was closest to Judson, barely had tto react before a punch landed squarely on his face, sending him stumbling backward.

Within moments, Judson had taken down two men.

The remaining attackers hesitated, a sense of dread creeping in, and seven considered fleeing. But before they could reach the door, dozens of men dressed in black stormed in, encircling them.

The lead figure in black sneered, "Without Mr. Buchanan's permission, did you really think you could leave?" Instantly, fear washed over the group, leaving them ashen-faced.

Judson turned away and approached Nancy, his expression softening.

"Nancy." Her nslipped from his lips as he drew near, prompting her to speak instinctively.

Judson gave a reassuring nod, his eyes filled with concern. "Nancy, don't worry. I'm here. Just close your eyes for a moment, okay? I'll get you out of those chains." Trusting him, Nancy closed her eyes.

In the next instant, Judson pulled out a gun and fired at the chains binding her to the bed.

Bang, bang- The chains shattered.

"It's done." Judson tucked the gun back into his pocket and helped Nancy sit up gently.

Nancy opened her eyes, taking in the familiar scent of sandalwood that lingered around Judson. Her heart, which had been suspended in anxiety, settled back into place only to start racing again.

"Judson, Ramona..." Before she could finish, hurried footsteps echoed through the room.

"Lena, are you okay?!" Nancy looked up to see Ramona rushing in, her clothes stained with blood, and her heart skipped a beat in worry.

"Your clothes-" "It's not mine," Ramona assured, relief washing over her as she saw that Nancy was unharmed.

Nancy was about to say more when a teasing voice cut in. "Ms. Iverson is indeed unharmed; she didn't even needto play the hero." Nancy turned to see Michael entering with a grin. "Really, you can truston that."

Michael couldn't help but recall how, when he had burst in earlier, Ramona had been wielding a knife with deadly 103 intent, and the men who had tried to take advantage of her lay around in pools of their own blood. It was a sight he wouldn't soon forget-Ramona had looked downright terrifying. Relieved that Ramona was safe, Nancy relaxed slightly.

Ramona noticed and was about to speak when Judson's gaze caught hers.

Just one glance.

Ramona took Nancy's hand. "Lena, let's get out of here, okay?" Instead of replying, Nancy turned to look at Judson.

Judson's expression was grave.

m "Nancy, I haven't let off enough steam. Could you wait foroutside for ten minutes?" Nancy hesitated, and sensing her Elzė, Judson spoke quickI really can't let this thinking about what they did..." Nancy interrupted him in a firm voice, "No, I'll give you twenty minutes."

She pointed at the unconscious John, "Judson, take care of him foro m • of me-make sure he regrets it. Can you do that?" mmMwWLlilofiflo&1 mmMwWLlilofiflo&1 mmMwWLliI0fiflO&1 mmMwWLlilofiflo&1 mmMwWLliIofifl0&1 mmMwWLlilofiflo&1
