Farrah didn't say a word either.
It was one of those uncanny moments.

With each passing month, the little girl had grown more gentle and cooperative. Her round cheeks and sweet nature made her even more lovable.
"Why are you so quiet all of a sudden?" Freya playfully poked at Isabella. She turned back to the others, giving them a pointed look. "You overheard us say it's a secret from you. What else could we possibly add?" Farrah chuckled, not missing a beat.
If it had been someone else in Freya's place, they might have jumped to all sorts of wild conclusions about Ellis and Farrah.
Freya, however, understood both Ellis and Farrah far too well for her mind to wander in that direction. The thought never even crossed her mind.
"The only thing that makes sense for Ellis to chere and demand secrecy," Freya mused, her eyes narrowing with insight, "there's only one possibility." Farrah lifted her brows. "And what's that?" Ellis, meanwhile, could not keep still. He was almost certain that Freya had pieced it all together.
"It's about his proposal plan, isn't it?" Freya pressed, locking her eyes on Farrah, searching for any flicker of emotion.
Freya saw no point in studying Ellis. He was far too skilled at hiding his emotions, making it almost impossible to read anything from his face. But she missed one important thing. Farrah had built her career on playing roles, and she was a natural at it.

Freya noticed the lack of any real reaction, and uncertainty crept in. Maybe her guess was off the mark? hosts great stories "You wantdown on one knee that badly?" Ellis flashed a lazy grin, finally letting his guard down since Farrah had managed to keep the secret.
Freya could not find words. If it was not a proposal, then what on earth was it? Her eyes darted between Ellis and Farrah, searching for any hint of the truth.
If that was not it, then what could it be?
"After lunch, I'll take you shopping for rings. Once we find the right ones, I'll pick a special day to pop the question." Ellis spoke up, playing along smoothly.
Freya pressed her lips together, the suspicion fading a bit. Maybe she was reading too much into things. Ring shopping hardly sounded like sgrand secret.
Ellis turned to her and asked, "What kind of proposal would you actually like?"
"If you're not talking about proposing, Why then what were you and Farrah m discussing exactly?" Freya, not quite ready to drop it, shot back.
