Chapter 613:
“Are you fine now?” Seeing that Stella had relaxed, RK didn’t feel so nervous anymore.
“Well, but what should we do after they find out about Adrian?” Stella was not overly worried, but she considered
what she would do if reporters stopped her when she went to school to pick Adrian up.
Hearing Stella’s concern, Emily guessed what was going on. Only Ruben remained in a daze, unsure of what was
happening.
“Stella, isn't little Rian’s teacher living in our building? Let the teacher bring Adrian back,” Emily suggested,
thinking that if Adrian took the teacher's car home, he wouldn't be discovered.
When Stella heard Emily’s words, she immediately called Seventeen. After hearing Seventeen’s promise, she felt
less afraid.
“Well, can someone tellwhat happened?” Ruben looked at them, confused. He didn’t know what they were
talking about or why they were discussing Adrian.
Stella heard Ruben’s voice and looked at him. She thought that if it weren't for him, Adrian wouldn't have been
in danger. Ruben noticed the unprecedented fear in Stella’s eyes and didn’t expect her to be so terrified.
“Ruben, deal with your mess quickly. If there are any more reporters or disturbances for Adrian, | won't let you
off,” Stella said firmly before turning around and leaving. Seeing that Stella had left, Emily glared at Ruben and
followed her out.
Ruben scratched his head. He had dealt with the situation but didn’t expect the reporters to cause trouble for

“Take good care of this matter,” RK patted Ruben on the shoulder, walked to the desk, sat down, and began to
deal with sdocuments.
Standing there in a daze for a while, Ruben finally walked out of RK’s office. It seemed he needed to call Dave.
“Master Ruben, is there anything | can do for you?” As soon as Dave finished his business, he saw Ruben calling
him and answered the phone nervously.
“Prepare a press conference for me. Those reporters might get impatient,” Ruben said, filled with anger.
“Well, okay,” Dave replied. He couldn't figure out what Ruben was thinking, so he could only follow his orders.

As soon as Stella and Emily returned to the office area, they heard the familiar chatter again.
“Shut up, all of you!” Emily shouted impatiently.
Emily's voice made those discussing immediately quiet down.
“Now, much better. | don’t understand what there is to discuss,” Emily said, looking at the now-silent crowd,
feeling much more comfortable.
Stella smiled at Emily, feeling more at ease now that they had stopped talking.
RK sat in his office chair, set down the documents in his hand, and looked out the window.
He hadn't expected that whenever something bad happened to Adrian, Stella would becso anxious.
Although he knew the reporters were at the school, he was only a little worried, not overly so—not only because
Seventeen was there but also because he wouldn't let Adrian be involved in this mess. However, seeing Stella so
worried made him anxious too.
Thinking about how he had taken Adrian away, he realized Stella must be very worried.
Then, recalling Adrian's kidnapping, Stella lost her voice. He suddenly felt that it was all his fault. If it weren't for
him, Adrian wouldn't have been kidnapped, and Stella wouldn't have fallen ill and suffered so severely.
“Stella, in the future, | won't let you worry because of me. | will protect you and little Rian.” Looking out the
window, RK couldn't help but express his thoughts to Stella and Adrian in his heart.
“Tristan, can we ask Stella to have dinner with us?” Alice looked at Tristan and said. She remembered the woman
she saw that day and seemed to understand why Tristan liked her so much.
“Ally?” Tristan looked at Alice in confusion. He didn’t know why, but he felt that Alice had changed. She seemed
different from before, but if someone asked him what had changed, he couldn't say.
“What's wrong?” Alice gently asked Tristan.
“It’s nothing. I will call Stella and ask her.” Tristan could only respond vaguely, not wanting to reject Alice’s
suggestion, so he let her proceed.
Alice heard Tristan’s answer and looked at him with a happy smile.
Tristan smiled back.
He hesitated for a long twith his mobile phone in hand. He remembered that he hadn’t had a good chat with
Stella for a long time. However, in the end, he called her.
Stella was looking at the documents in her hand when her mobile phone rang. She took it out and answered
without looking at it. “Hello, who is it?”
When Tristan heard Stella's voice, he opened his mouth but found himself unable to speak.
Stella didn’t hear anyone talking on the other end, so she held the phone in front of her. After glancing at the
caller ID, she realized it was a call from Tristan.
“Brother Tristan?” Stella put down the document in her hand. No one knew what she was thinking.
“Yes, Stella.”
Hearing Stella's voice, Tristan had no choice but to speak up.
“Well, what's the matter?” Stella thought of the woman she saw yesterday and wondered if that was why Tristan
called her.
“Ally wants to invite you to have dinner with us.” In the end, Tristan revealed the purpose of his call.
After hearing why Tristan called her, Stella didn’t respond. She couldn't accept that it was really because of Alice.
“I'm afraid | can’t do it today,” Stella said, unsure why she wanted to refuse. She didn’t like Alice very much.
“Well, I understand,” Tristan replied before hanging up the phone. He felt at a loss for words and realized that the
relationship between him and Stella had changed.
