Chapter 606:
“Okay, it's good that you have recovered.” Hearing Stella's voice, Tristan immediately replied. He was very
happy that Stella had healed. He hadn't had the chance to tell her earlier since he hadn't contacted her for a
long time.
“Yes.” Stella could hear the excitement in Tristan’s voice but didn’t say anything further.
“Stella, | have a friend here who wants to see you. Do you have time?” Tristan thought of the purpose of his call
and asked Stella directly.
“I'm going to take Adrian to school in the afternoon, so I'm afraid I won't have time.” Stella was curious about
what kind of friend Tristan wanted her to meet.
“What tare you going?” Tristan looked at Alice, who was sitting across from him.
“We will arrive at school at three o'clock.” Stella's curiosity grew. It must be urgent for Tristan to want her to
meet a friend. “If it’s only one o'clock, | can pick you up. | won't waste your time; let's just meet for a while.”
Tristan didn’t know why Alice suddenly wanted to meet Stella, but he also didn’t know why he couldn't refuse
Alice.
“Well, givethe address, and | will drive myself.” Since Tristan had already offered, Stella didn’t know how to
turn him down.
“Light Café,” Tristan told her the address. “Yes, | will be there in a while.” Stella knew where it was and looked at

Ten minutes later...
“Stella, this way,” Tristan said as he stood up and waved to her.
Stella smiled at him and walked toward Tristan. She didn’t expect that the friend Tristan wanted her to meet
would be a woman. The woman had her back turned, so Stella couldn't see her face. However, when she noticed
that the woman was sitting in a wheelchair, she thought she must be a relative of Tristan.
“Hello, Tristan,” Stella greeted as she approached him with a smile.

She turned her head and smiled at the woman.
When Stella saw the woman, her first impression was not that of her beauty but rather that she looked very
familiar, although she couldn’t quite place it.
“Stella, this is Alice. Alice, this is Stella.” Before Tristan could finish the introduction, Alice interrupted him.
“Stella, right? You mentioned her toevery day, so | remember!” Alice smiled at Tristan.
At that moment, Stella thought that this woman must be Tristan’s girlfriend. She seemed to know of her
existence and cto introduce herself. Tristan smiled but didn’t say anything; he just stepped aside to let
Stella sit.
“Stella, I've always heard Tristan mention your name, but | haven't been able to see you until now. I've heard a
lot about you.” Alice smiled mischievously and extended her hand to Stella.
Stella smiled back and reached out to shake Alice's hand. She was surprised to learn that Tristan had such a
close friend who called him so affectionately.
“Tristan, why did you callhere? I'm a little worried about Adrian. He was sleeping alone at home,” Stella
admitted, deliberately ignoring the fact that Emily was at home. She felt that the atmosphere was somewhat
tense and wanted to leave immediately.
“Little Adrian is halone? Isn't Emily there?” When Tristan heard that Adrian was home, he becanxious.
“Yes, Emily went to work and left him at home,” Stella said, feigning a serious expression with a smile.
“Go hquickly. Don’t let little Adrian be scared when he wakes up.” As Tristan spoke, he stood up and
gestured for Stella to leave.
“That's not good.” Stella looked at Alice with embarrassment. “Alice, little Adrian is still young. Something
happened to him a while ago, so | asked Stella to go hfirst. If we have time, we can meet again, okay?”
Tristan glanced at Alice, not noticing that he had just used the word “we.”
“Well, okay.” Alice continued to smile gently at Tristan, showing no other emotions.
“Sorry, I'll treat you to dinner next time. | have to leave now. Bye,” Stella waved goodbye to Tristan and Alice and
quickly exited. She suddenly felt that she was becoming more scheming. However, thinking of the ambiguous
atmosphere between Tristan and Alice made her feel a little uncomfortable.
Now she understood why Tristan had been in such a hurry to leave repeatedly; it was because of a phone call.
However, since Tristan had found the person he loved, she was genuinely happy for him.
As Stella opened the door, Adrian had just woken up and walked out of the bedroom.
“Darling, did you just go out?” Adrian looked at Stella, who had just entered, and asked.
“Well, go wash your face and ask your godmother to get up. We are going to school.” Stella walked up to Adrian
and gently touched his head.
Adrian nodded and headed to wash his face.
Once in the bedroom, Adrian pulled out his phone. He realized that his phone had run out of power, so he had
left it at hto charge while he was gone.
Stella and Emily took Adrian to school. During their trip, Stella didn’t mention that she had gone to see Tristan.
“Let's go, let's go to Adrian's class. Adrian, your head teacher seems to have changed,” Stella told Adrian. She
and Emily took Adrian’s hand and walked toward the office area.
Knock knock knock...
Stella thought that Adrian's class teacher's office was still in its original position. However, after asking, she
found out that the class teacher had changed.
Moreover, the new class teacher seemed to have sconnections, as he alone had an office. However, Stella
didn’t care about these things; she didn’t need to be in charge of them.
“Cin.” A man’s voice cfrom inside the office, and Adrian's eyes immediately lit up. He felt that the
voice was so familiar.
