“Excuse me.”

A knock on the door and a waiter’s voice broke the silence. After the waiter served the dishes, he left. In the

private room where there had been a little noise just now, it was quiet again. It was so quiet that it made people

feel uncomfortable.

The two waiters, who had just walked out of the private room, patted their chests as soon as they cout.

They looked at each other and shivered.

“That's it! | ordered so many dishes. If we don’t finish them, it will be a waste. Eat quickly, eat quickly!” Ruben

plate.

RK raised his eyebrows and looked at Ruben. He didn’t know when Ruben had learned not to waste food.

RK didn’t reply. He picked up a large shrimp and placed it on a plate. Then, he picked up a towel next to him and

wiped his hands. He then put on a pair of disposable gloves and began peeling the shrimp.

Perhaps it was because of how carefree Ruben and Emily were, but Tristan also moved his spoon and picked up

sfood for Stella. Stella looked at Tristan and smiled.

RK was peeling shrimp, but from the corner of his eye, he could still see the interaction between Stella and

Tristan. RK’s expression didn’t change. He put the peeled shrimp onto Adrian’s plate, smiled at him, and then

peeled another shrimp for him.

“Thanks, Dad.” Adrian picked up the shrimp that RK had peeled for him with a fork. Then he added a little sauce

and brought the fork to Stella’s mouth.

“Darling, eat the shrimp. | peeled it.” Adrian's innocent voice made it seem very simple for him to feed Stella the

shrimp RK had peeled.

Adrian raised his hand for a long time, but Stella did not move. In the end, Stella looked into Adrian's eyes and

“Adrian, this is specially peeled for you by Dad. Your mother has hands, and she can peel shrimp by herself, so

you can eat it yourself.” RK said and switched his plate with Adrian's.

It was only then that they found the half plate of shrimp was almost gone, and all the shrimp shells were now on

Adrian’s plate.

“Wow, you are amazing, Dad. But | want to feed you the shrimp you peeled.” The voice in front made Adrian

very happy, but that voice made Stella's goosebumps rise. She was wondering when the relationship between

Adrian and RK would becbetter than that between her and RK.

“Okay, | will listen to you.” At this time, RK had taken off his gloves, wiped his hands with a towel, and then

touched Adrian's hair.

Adrian looked at RK with a smile and continued to feed him the shrimp. He dipped the shrimp into the sauce and

put it into RK’s mouth.

RK smiled and opened his mouth to eat.

Adrian smiled happily and then lowered his head to eat the food on his plate. He did not speak anymore.

Stella accidentally met RK’s gaze and subconsciously avoided it. Then, she picked up a random dish and put it

into her mouth. “So spicy!” Stella saw that the dish she had casually picked up turned out to be the spicy

chopped pepper dish.

Stella was embarrassed; fortunately, Tristan was there.

“Stella, drink swater.” When Tristan saw that Stella had been scalded, he immediately picked up a cup and

put it in Stella’s hand.

On the other side, Emily and Ruben, who were eating and watching the show, burst into laughter.

Stella quickly finished the glass of water and felt that it wasn’t as spicy as before. She then turned her head to

look at Ruben and Emily.

“Is it that funny?” Although Stella asked Emily and Ruben with a smile, they suddenly felt that something was

wrong and immediately shook their heads together.

Then the two of them went to pick up sfood at the stime.

After the meal, Stella only remembered the taste of the chili she had eaten; she didn’t remember the rest. RK

and Adrian ate happily.

better than Stella.

However, after the meal, the bill had been paid for a long time. Tristan said that he was having dinner with

Stella, and then he asked them to cover. It was his duty to pay the bill. RK said that he chere with

Adrian, so he should pay the bill.

He continued to say that Adrian was his son, and Stella was Adrian’s mother. Tristan was Adrian's uncle; he had

not done much of his duty and could not let Adrian’s uncle pay.

In the end, it was neither RK nor Tristan who paid the bill, but Ruben, who had been watching the show.

Ruben felt that they were fighting back and forth and it was very annoying. In the end, he used excuses—his ex-

sister-in-law, Little Adrian, and Emily's reasons—to settle the score.

Stella thought that it would be fine after he paid the bill, but when they arrived at the door of the restaurant, she

faced another problem.

RK’s and Tristan’s cars were parked in front of the hotel.

“Stella, Adrian, and Emily, | will send you back.” Tristan stood beside the car door and looked at the others with a

gentle smile.

“Adrian, | will send you back.” RK didn’t call out so many names; he just called Adrian.
