Marie teared up again. "My father holds no power over the Jonan family anymore, Uncle Greg, and Grandpa said all those years

ago that his collection would go to my father. Are you going to watch Dad die just like that?"

Greg had always resented Albus deeply. The two of them were brothers, but Albus was the youngest out of five sons and their

father had always favored him the most, leaving all his prized possessions to Albus.

This had greatly angered the other four brothers, including Greg, and the four of them had thus hatched this plan. Albus was

currently deeply ill, and it would not be long before he ended up dead.

However, Greg was still Marie's uncle. Despite the fact that the plan involved killing Marie, Greg was now feeling an ache in his

heart at the look on her face.

"Fine, fine. How about this? You can sell the collection tosince you need the money so badly. You offered ten billion dollars,

right? I'll pay you ten billion."

Wilbur piped up then. "Surely you understand how 'firste, first served’ works, right, Mister Greg? Madam Marie has made up

her mind to sell this collection to me, and it's not very nice of you toe butting in and taking the offer away from me, is it?"

Greg pointed at Wilbur as he fumed, "You shut your mouth! I'm Marie's uncle, and these are family matters. You have no place in

this conversation."

Wilbur smoked. "Sure. Why don't we bid for the collection since we're both after them, then? The collection goes to whoever can

offer the higher price. How's that?"

Greg sneered coldly. "I'm not scared of you. I'll offer eleven billion! Sell the collection to me!"

"Fifteen billion dollars," said Wilbur.
