Chapter 290 How could Suzanne, that bitch, be worthy of having that? Seline glared intently at the photo on her phone, acting as if her glare could burn holes into Suzanne's skin. It had to be fake. That necklace had to be a dupe! She was certain that Suzanne had hired netizens to spew nonsense to enhance her image, or it was Jane's brainless fans tooting her horns.
The necklace had to be a dupe! Seline was suffocating in her misery. The irritation was so uncomfortable that it felt like she had a fishbone lodged in her throat. She flung her phone heavily onto the ground with a bang.
"That bitch!" Seline eyed the pieces of jewelry on her vanity table and instantly felt like they were extremely annoying. She stormed toward them and swept all of them to the ground. They were all just trash! Tangible hatred churned within Seline's eyes. One day, she would be sure to stomp Suzanne on the ground so hard that it would be impossible for her to turn things around.
Austin had to fly to Azure City early the next morning.

Remember to callimmediately if anything happens." Suzanne smiled. Turning, she saw the morning sun streaming in from the windows and stretched. She felt like her head was a little heavy, probably because she drank alcohol last night.
She went downstairs as she massaged her temples.
Rita placed a bowl of savory oatmeal in front of Suzanne.
She looked at Suzanne with a smile on her face and said respectfully, "Mrs. Hall, Mr. Hall specially requested forto cook this savory oatmeal for you. You had alcohol yesterday, so eating this could relieve you of a hangover and revitalize your body." Suzanne paused for a while. She didn't expect Austin to arrange for this even when he had to leave so early.
A smile formed on her lips as she replied happily, "Okay, thank you!" Suzanne sat down and took a little bite of the oatmeal. Then, she looked at Rita and asked, "You added cucumber to this?" It was a faint flavor, but it added freshness to the oatmeal.
Rita gave Suzanne a thumbs-up and praised, "You're amazing, Mrs. Hall! I only added a very small amount of shredded cucumber. Usually, people can't really taste it. Your taste buds are something else!" Suzanne ate a few more spoonfuls of it and smiled at Rita. "Your cooking skills are superb, Rita." Rita was giddy with praise.
Suzanne had just finished her meal when she got a call from Marsha. She smiled as she answered the phone. "What made you callso early in the morning?" She got up and went into her walk-in wardrobe to pick an outfit for work.
Marsha turned lazily in her bed and said apologetically, "Sorry, babe. I was so busy yesterday that I forgot your birthday." In hindsight, they hadn't spent many birthdays together in the past few years, but she would at least send Suzanne a text. This year, she didn't even get a text in, and Marsha felt really bad about it.
Suzanne smirked as she picked out the outfit she was going to wear today and said, "It's fine. I'll just be expecting a bigger gift from you." How could she be angry at Marsha over such a small matter? Besides, when Suzanne remembered the surprise she got yesterday, her smile widened.

Marsha was reminded of that photo on social media and cackled om deviously, wanting the latest scoop. "Tellhonestly. Did Austin gift you the necklace you were wearing last night?" Suzanne paused. The necklace from last night? She frowned and asked curiously, "How do you know he gavea necklace?"
Technically, only Yasmine and Aaron should know about it, and they were not people who liked to yap around.
Marsha fought the urge to roll her eyes as she plopped heavily back opto heNblanket.
"Babe, this has caused a major uproar on social media for the entire night now really hard fornot to know about it, okay?"
