Chapter 237 Seline stomped her foot hard in frustration but had no choice but to do as Jenson said.

She glanced down the hallway to make sure no one was around before finally letting out a breath and smoothing down her blouse.

Over in the design department, Suzanne was at her desk, focused on her work. The sharp click of high heels echoed through the room, followed by the overpowering scent of expensive perfume.

Suzanne frowned as Seline's voice cut through the air. She said, "Your design draft needs srevisions. Mr. Young is waiting for you in the coffee shop downstairs. Go meet him in the private room." Suzanne looked up, meeting Seline's haughty gaze. She could tell Seline was seething, but she didn't care. "I'm not going," Suzanne replied flatly.

Seline choked back her anger. "You-" Already upset about Jenson wanting to see Suzanne, Seline was now even more furious at having to convince her to go. She forced herself to stay calm, aware of the employees glancing their way.

"I'll go with you," Seline said, softening her tone. "He won't try anything." Suzanne paused, raising an eyebrow. So, Seline knew exactly what kind of Khalil was. How ironic.

Suzanne's silence made Seline uneasy. "What are you staring at? Let's go," Seline snapped, crossing her arms and leaning against a nearby desk.

Suzanne could tell Seline was up to something, but curiosity got the better of her. What was she planning this time? "Fine," Suzanne said, standing up.

Seline was caught off guard. She had prepared a whole speech to pressure Suzanne, but now, it was useless. And to make matters worse, Suzanne was about to meet Jenson.

Suzanne tidied her desk and walked out, leaving Seline fuming behind her.

The coffee shop was quiet, likely because it was still early. The place was stylishly decorated, but only a few customers were scattered around.

As soon as Suzanne walked in, she spotted a man sitting in one of the semi- private rooms. The private rooms were separated by old-fashioned canvas curtains covering only the upper half, leaving the lower legs visible.

No wonder Seline had said nothing would happen. The private room didn't even have a proper door, just a flimsy curtain. Even someone as bold as Khalil wouldn't dare try anything in such an exposed space.

Seline walked into the coffee shop and headed straight for the counter to place an order. Suzanne glanced at her briefly, then made her way to the semi-private room without a word.

As Suzanne pulled back the curtain and stepped inside, Seline's face twisted with jealousy. Without Jensonsor Jenson's orders, she would never have allowed Suzanne to be alone with him. Seline was seething. Why wouldn't that witch Suzanne just drop dead already? A server approached her politely, asking in a gentle tone, "Miss, what would you like to order?" Seline turned and glared at the server, her voice sharp and cutting. "Stop rushing me! Can't you see I'm thinking?" The server immediately fell silent, not daring to say another word.

Inside the semi-private room, Suzanne pulled back the curtain and froze for a moment when she saw Jenson sitting there. Her expression darkened. "So, it's you?"

She couldn't believe it. Seline, who guarded Jenson like he was the apple of her eye, had actually set this up. What a rare sight.
